Our Story
Urban Property Managers was founded to embrace our property management and real estate development ventures. With the success of FM Construction Group, FM Home Improvement, and Urban Property Developers (newly Skyline General Contractors), we wanted to ensure our commitment to excellence and exceptionally high standards continued through to our tenants.
1986
FM HOME IMPROVEMENT + FM CONSTRUCTION GROUP
Established in 1986 by our current owner, Milton Fantin, FM Home Improvement and FM Construction Group (FM) have since become some of the biggest names in roofing and siding in New England and the greater New York area. Throughout his 35+ years in the industry, FM has expanded across 5 different states, specializing in home remodelling, roofing and siding, composite panel fabrication, and installation.
2012
76 Saint Pauls Avenue
We completed our first building, 76 Saint Pauls Avenue, in 2012. This 5-story, traditional 55-unit multi-family apartment complex is located in The Heights in Jersey City.
2016
Element Flats
We completed our second building, Element Flats, in 2016. This 6-story, traditional 76-unit multi-family apartment complex is located in the heart of Downtown Jersey City.

Urban Property Developers (Newly Skyline General Contractors)
The Fantin family’s passion and commitment to excellence has allowed them to expand their portfolio by developing their own projects and managing their own properties. Milton’s success with FM and knowledge of the construction industry laid the foundation for the family’s entrance into real estate development. Milton founded Urban Property Development (Newly Skyline General Contractors) in 2016.
2017
Urban Property Managers
In-house quality control was the main objective when Urban Property Managers was established in 2017. The Fantin family strives to create communities that reflect their values and traditions by providing exceptional customer service, safe, comfortable, luxurious living spaces, and a tailored experience to every resident.
2019
Archview Flats
We completed our third building, Archview Flats, in 2019. This 6-story, modern 72-unit multi-family apartment complex is located in the heart of Bayonne.
2020
Conifer Flats
We completed our fourth building, Conifer Flats, in 2020. This 9-story, modern 98-unit multi-family apartment complex is located in the heart of Bergen-Lafayette.
2023
Overlook Flats
We completed our fifth building, Overlook Flats, in 2023. This 16-story, modern 297-unit multi-family apartment complex is located in the heart of Journal Square.
